Rescue a Chinese Shar-Pei Chinese Shar-Pei Pictures Page 4
Texas Bones, aka Tex, the Shar-Pei at 8 ½ months old - "Tex is currently having an allergy issue we are taking care of quite will with peroxide and aloe on his feet... but that's where the shoes come in. He's now 8 1/2 months old and 40 to 45 lbs. No real health issues and still a dream around children, although a little "loud" around other dogs... he means no harm and loves to play. I believe puppy classes helped with that aspect. He's grown so much now."
"Texas Bones at 16 weeks old and a full blood Shar Pei. We just love him, his quirks are definitely drooling, he gets a smelly mouth if his teeth aren't consistently brushed, which makes for smelly drool. He definitely takes a strong hand in training, we just started puppy class 2, and he's doing well. He can be taught, just the owner must be stern, consistent and patient. We think he may have allergies because outside he tends to sneeze a lot and his eyes are getting messier now that it's summer. At 20 weeks he weighed 25 lbs. He is doing very well... oh and he's anemic, I guess Shar Pei's have a tendency towards that (low red blood cell count). "
