This is Mika our Siberian Husky at 9 months old enjoying a recent Nova Scotias snowfall. Mika loves the snow and "playing " with the squirrels in the back yard who enjoy taunting her. She is a good example of the breed in that she can get bored easily. She gets along very well with our other pets and loves to watch Lily the Leopard Gecko walk around her enclosure. Mika has taken obedience training and learns new tricks very very quickly if there is a treat involved. She very seldom barks but is very vocal, making the woo-wooing noise that is music to a Siberian owners ears. Mika is an excellent example of the personality traits listed for a Siberian Husky as she loves everyone and is extremely good natured, but NEEDS her daily exercise. A tired Husky is a wonderful dog, but a bored one can be a nightmare.
